Christa Huth
Meet Christa Huth, a passionate animal enthusiast whose heart belongs to every furry friend she meets. Based in Acworth, Georgia, Christina brings over 17 years of experience and caring for pets with a heart full of compassion and a genuine love for animals. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she grew up as one of triplet sisters surrounded by a lively mix of pets – from dogs and cats to ducks, birds, fish and turtles. This early exposure sparked a lifelong passion for nurturing and caring for animals of all kinds.
Christa treats every pet as if they were her own family member. She has personally cared for many dogs and cats, including two beloved rescues—Dylan, adopted from Angels Among Us, and Boozer, rescued from the Fulton County Animal Shelter. Though they have passed on, their memory inspires Christa’s dedication to providing loving, responsible care to every animal she meets. Her motto? “You can never have too many dogs!” because, to her, dogs truly are the best companions.
Before settling in Acworth, Christa worked at a kennel in Aiken, South Carolina, where she cared for dogs staying overnight. While she enjoyed the work, she felt that kennels, with their noisy and confined spaces, were not the ideal environment for pets. This experience fueled her passion to offer a more personal, comforting alternative—providing 24-hour care in a loving home setting where pets feel safe, happy, and truly cared for – and this is what she can now offer through her work at Pets and Peeps, LLC.
If you want a pet sitter who is caring, responsible, and treats your furry friends like family, Christa is ready to welcome your pets with open arms and a warm heart. She looks forward to meeting your animals and sharing her love for all creatures great and small!
Tracey Preslan
Tracey’s heart truly belongs to the dogs! After moving from North Carolina to Roswell in 2000, she found her perfect home in Martin’s Landing, where she’s lived since 2002. Tracey discovered her love for pet ownership in 2020 when she rescued her first dog, Rosie, during the pandemic—thanks to some persistent requests from her kids! Since then, dogs have become a true passion, and Rosie has been the furry spark that inspired Tracey’s deep affection for all animals.
When she’s not working full-time as a scrum master for the University of Maryland Global Campus, Tracey is happiest surrounded by her family—her three energetic kids and, of course, Rosie. Whether she’s cheering on her children at volleyball and baseball games, exploring new walking trails with Rosie, or planning the next beach adventure, Tracey’s life is full of joy, laughter, and wagging tails. She also loves curling up with a good book or catching up with friends over lunch, but nothing makes her smile quite like the unconditional love of her four-legged companion!
Amy Pecic
Amy’s deep love of animals was shaped growing up in a pet-obsessed family where she and her three sisters were always surrounded by dogs. Her first puppy loves were the two goofy, affectionate basset hounds she grew up with—a breed her parents cherished and raised for many years. Outside of school and various childhood hobbies, Amy spent as much time as possible outdoors and with her pets. When her older sisters left home, they each rescued cats and dogs, bringing even more furry friends into the family.
Raised in Kentucky’s Bluegrass region, Amy’s passion for horses was kindled at summer riding camps and through 4-H, where she learned to care for and groom them. She began riding lessons in Kentucky and continued after her family moved to Pennsylvania, competing in hunter and jumper divisions.
Amy’s compassion reached far beyond her own pets. As a young adult, she regularly brought shelter dogs to visit senior homes, brightening the days of both the residents and the dogs alike. Although her demanding sales career—marked by frequent overnight travel and a stint living abroad in London—temporarily put pet ownership on hold, she and her husband John eventually welcomed two amazing rescue dogs, Charlie and Putney, into their lives. These beloved companions taught Amy to embrace the present and find joy and blessings even in life’s smallest moments.
Now, Amy balances a successful career in software sales with her passion for animals. Through Pets & Peeps, LLC and as a lead bio writer for Angels Among Us Rescue in Atlanta, she channels her empathy and experience into helping foster dogs find loving homes. Amy is dedicated to making a difference for animals and the people who love them.

Natalia Thomas
Natalia Thomas, an animal enthusiast, radiates joy for all creatures great and small. Hailing from Roswell, she relocated to Woodstock, Georgia in 2020, yet her deep connection with animals predates this move. Born in Russia, Natalia was adopted by her dedicated single mother, a recently retired pediatric nurse who recognized Natalia’s innate love for animals from their first encounter with a cat named Music in Moscow. This encounter likely marked Natalia’s initial interaction with an animal, as pets were uncommon in her early life. Her home has consistently buzzed with pets, from Shasta the Sheltie and Oreo the tuxedo tabby, to various cats, mice, fish, and even bearded dragons. Had her mother allowed, their residence would have transformed into a bustling farm, a dream Natalia still cherishes. She delights in visiting her cousin’s farm, assisting with chickens, pigs, and sheep, and persistently advocates for the addition of horses, a particular passion.
Natalia’s commitment to animals deepened when she began volunteering at Fur Kids Rescue in Atlanta, primarily aiding with adoption events on weekends. Although her mother wisely limited additional canine family members, she did permit Natalia to adopt Abby, a beloved Chihuahua/Papillion mix who is now a cherished senior pet. A summer was also dedicated to volunteering at a cat shelter in Norcross. Currently, Natalia’s home is a lively haven shared with Abby and four adopted felines: Mishka, a rescued black cat; Gizmo, a tiny gray tabby from Fur Kids; Nugget, a Russian Blue whom her mother affectionately insisted on keeping; and Junebug, a pampered Calico diva. Adding to this vibrant menagerie is Mican, a three-year-old bearded dragon, arguably the most affectionate of them all, who enjoys nestling on Natalia’s shoulder and dozing under her hair. Throughout the years, Natalia has fostered numerous strays, ensuring they found loving homes. Friends frequently turn to her as their primary resource for animal placements. Additionally, Natalia contributes her writing skills to Angels Among Us Rescue in Atlanta, crafting engaging bios for foster dogs, a role that seamlessly connects to her personal history in animal rescue.
Over the past year and a half, Natalia has thrived at Pets & Peeps, finding it to be an unparalleled collective of animal lovers. She immediately felt at home within the team. Stating her passion for animals is a considerable understatement; few things bring her greater satisfaction than connecting with a shy or skittish dog or cat, patiently coaxing them to relax, cuddle, and offer affection. Colleagues affectionately refer to her as the “dog whisperer,” and she extends this same patience to cats, understanding their often-wary nature. While it may take more time, the reward of winning over a shy fur baby and witnessing them seek cuddles or back scratches is immensely gratifying. Natalia believes the more animals that can share her bed, the better. Clients value the daily updates, photos, and videos she provides during their absence, which offer considerable peace of mind. Natalia is also proficient in administering medications to both cats and dogs, including insulin injections, oral medications, ear drops, eye drops, and topical creams. She looks forward to continuing her journey of connecting with and providing exceptional care for cherished pets.

Julie Harris
Julie Harris has always had a deep love and respect for animals, growing up in Kansas City, MO, with her first canine companions: a sheltie named Duchess and a poodle mix named Coco. After their passing, her family expanded their furry family with cats, fostering a lifelong connection with both dogs and cats. Moving through various regions—including Georgia, Auburn, AL, and California’s East Bay—Julie’s devotion to animals remained strong, often acting as a pet stepmom to a variety of fur babies. Returning to the metro-Atlanta area in 2022 to be closer to family, she recently settled near downtown Roswell, where she enjoys the vibrant community and social scene.
Though she currently does not have pets of her own, Julie’s appreciation for the unconditional love pets provide inspired her to join Pets and Peeps, LLC after reaching out to Karen to become part of the team. Her full-time career as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, where she provides clinical supervision and treatment planning for children and adolescents with autism, allows her to work remotely—making it easy and natural to care for pets in their homes. Julie thrives on providing consistent, loving care, enjoying walks, cuddles, and meaningful interactions during daytime visits and overnight stays with Pets and Peeps clients.
As a lifelong caregiver and proud aunt to three nieces and five nephews, Julie’s nurturing nature extends both to children and animals. Inspired by her close friend’s therapy dog, Nash, she explored pet sitting to combine her compassion with her passion for animals. Julie is committed to ensuring that every pet she cares for feels safe, secure, and loved whenever their owners must be away.

Currently, she lives with two rescue cats aged 15 and 11, with the younger cat trusting only her and the older cat enough to emerge from hiding.
Linda’s affinity for dogs is equally strong; she fondly remembers the two Labradors she once had and continues to care for her nieces’ dogs, including two giant German Shepherds and a mutt, all of whom remain remarkably peaceful under her watch despite reports of tension among them. She attributes this harmony to her calm demeanor and her ability to make every pet feel safe, content, and trusting in her presence.

Shari Bell
Raised in Saratoga Springs, New York, Shari’s lifelong love for animals began early and continues to shape her life today. Surrounded by pets of every kind and introduced to horses at age ten, she developed a deep appreciation for trust, patience, and the special bond shared between animals and humans.
Her professional path began in Queens, New York, where she worked in the legal field while raising three sons. A return upstate allowed her to rekindle her passion for horses, training and showing American Saddlebreds under a Hall-of-Fame trainer—an experience that strengthened her discipline and understanding of animal behavior.
After relocating to Georgia during the pandemic, Shari continued her service work as a school bus driver for special-needs students, a role that deepened her empathy and patience. Her enduring love of animals soon led her to Pets & Peeps, where she provides trusted pet sitting services across the community.
Inspired by her experiences with Pets & Peeps—and an especially remarkable dog named Kevin—Shari went on to establish her own dog training business. Today, she continues her work with Pets & Peeps while helping dogs and their owners build calm, confident, and trusting relationships through positive, balanced training methods.
Shari Perkins
Meet Shari—a devoted pet enthusiast whose early experiences volunteering at the Atlanta Humane Society with her neighbor ignited a deep connection to animals. One of her most vivid memories is from when she was eight: her dad spontaneously sent her mom, brother, and her to the Humane Society to adopt a dog. Shari still remembers the excitement of pulling into the driveway, proudly holding up the leash of their new puppy, Goldie, for her dad to see. Years later, the family welcomed another dog, Bogie, further deepening her affection for animals.
Raised in East Cobb and now living in Roswell, Shari shares her home with her husband, two teenage boys, and four cherished dogs—including their newest dachshund, whom they welcomed when a friend could no longer care for him.
Shari finds truly meaningful work with Pets and Peeps, LLC, where she brings warmth, dedication, and genuine care to every animal she meets. Whether she’s tending to clients’ pets or cheering on her sons at the baseball field, Shari is committed to making sure every animal feels safe, happy, and loved.
